LaFollette discusses placement of prefab home

first_imgYesterday, the LaFollette Board of Zoning Appeals tabled a variance request at the monthly meeting of the City of La Follette Regional Planning Commission. The request was to allow Robert Marlow to put a prefab home at 405 East Beech Street. The prefab home is 14 ft x 40 ft with a four-foot front porch and a back deck. Board members had concerns about the request due to an ordinance from 1986 that stopped single wide mobile homes from being placed in the city. Codes Officer Daniel Smith had spoken prior to the meeting with City Attorney Reid Troutman who said that the prefab home falls under the category of mobile home. Sherry Shope requested the item be tabled until the next meeting so they can research the issue further.Another item that was tabled until next month was another variance request for property in the C-1 central business district at 170 North Tennessee Avenue. Concern for the stability of the building’s brick was discussed by Smith, who requested the property owner brace the structure until next month when the board will discuss the variance again.Donnie Byrge received a variance for his property located at 303 South 12th Street.  He will use the property for storage units.Ken Castleberry presented a site plan review for his property on Jacksboro Pike, behind Associates in Eye Care, to the planning commission. Castleberry plans to build storage units on the one-acre property. A plat of correction was presented for 173 Weirwoods Drive.Melvin Brandenburg requested that two lots be combined into one on Dogwood Lane in the Wier Woods Subdivision.Habitat for Humanity requested property at the corner of South Cumberland and East Fir Street be divided into three separate lots. The commission approved the property be divided into two separate lots. The property could not be divided into three separate lots due to square footage requirements. Just a matter of ‘waiting’ now for Wolves signing, negotiations successful…

first_imgThe Spanish media have become a little bored with the Jonny to Wolves story. Having reported it for a number of days, there was nothing in the newspapers on Tuesday. That’s perhaps because there didn’t need to be, everything had already been explained with regards to why the transfer was happening and how the deal would take shape. And it gave the English media a chance to catch up on the story.Wednesday’s edition of AS has a small snippet on the situation and it’s titled ‘Waiting for Jonny’, they then go on to explain agreement between the clubs was all completed this week. It’s not clear if they mean they mean it’s a case of waiting for Jonny to give his approval or simply waiting for the deal to be announced and the money to arrive, but there’s absolutely no doubt placed on the deal… AS don’t present it as being in the balance at this stage.A few days ago, AS stated: ‘Chelsea signed Morata in the summer of 2017 for five seasons in exchange for €65m plus €13m in variables. The striker has already had a campaign at Chelsea and was halfway through the second. What the English club requires of Atletico, in addition to taking charge of the salary of the striker, is paying the amortisation of the signing for the remainder of the year and then the next season. The figures come out around €16m per full campaign.’Atletico wanted Wolves to cover this, which is where the rough €20m figure has come from.by Taboolaby TaboolaSponsored LinksSponsored LinksPromoted LinksPromoted LinksTrending TodayForge of Empires – Free Online GameIf You Like to Play, this City-Building Game is a Must-Have.
